The official HD-trailer for the new american comedy – One for the Money (2012). In this Action-Adventure film from the Lakeshore Entertainment and Lionsgate studios a young girl named Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) suffers from life problems. She has lost her job in an Underwear store and her first husband facing the bankruptcy risk. In search of any possible work, she comes to her cousin – Vinnie Plum (Patrick Fischler), who is running a Bond Enforcemen agency in Trenton, the United States.
There she is ready for any challeges including bringing to custody all of those, who broke their bail terms, and getting money bonuses from such contracts. The most precious order at the company currently is a bounty for Joe Morelli (Jason O’Mara), who is a cop suspected in a recent murder. He hides to win some time to finish his investigation looking for those, who framed him. Even more, he was the first boyfriend of Stephanie, so the new dangerous task gets personal rather fast.
Ricardo «Ranger» Manoso (Daniel Sunjata) is an already very experienced bounty hunter, so she spends some time with Stephanie to teach her career basics. Not only he, but also smart Grandma Mazur (Debbie Reynolds) shares some of her wisom with the girl, but she has a lot to learn, if plans to reach her goal. In the meantime she has to work with other eccentric suspects, while at the same time trying to investigate a series of murders in the working quarter. The role of a local gym owner Jimmy Alpha (John Leguizamo) also has its striking appearances.
The movie script is a theatrical adaptation of the book – One for the Money (1994). It was written by Janet Evanovich – an American author, who mastered the ironical detectives genre. The crew of the film features many women promising a very respectful attitude to the original story, which alongside all 22 its sequels and short novels had a chance to become bestsellers in the U.S. several times.
