The Official HD-trailer for the adventure film – Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012). In this motion picture from New Line Cinema and Walden Media you will have another chance to meet Sean Anderson played by Josh Hutcherson. He has matured since the days of Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), although he didn’t lose his will to investigate unusual phenomena in the world. Now he lives in a family with his mother Elizabeth presented by Kristin Davis, and stepfather named Hank Parsons performed by Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson, whose character is involved in the construction business

For some time the Anderson family hasn’t got any news from the grandfather Alexander Anderson played by Michael Caine, who went searching for unique places, described in a Jules Verne (1828-1905) novel titled The Mysterious Island (1874). However, Sean was able to intercept a distress signal sent by a relative from an unknown land. Together with his stepfather, the hero will embark on a new adventure presented in IMAX 3D.

At the same time Sean is trying to improve his relationship with Hank. To get to a hidden place in the Journey 2: The Mysterious Island film the duo has to hire some Philippine guides on the island of Palau. Among them there are a local pilot Gabato presented by Luis Guzmán and his daughter Kailani played by Vanessa Hudgens, who awakes other feelings in Sean, besides his usual crave for new discoveries.
