The official HD-trailer for the American survival Drama named The Grey (2012). In this thriller coming from such studios as 1984 Private Defense Contractors, Liddell Entertainment, Open Road Films and Scott Free Productions one mature hunter Ottway (Liam Neeson) gets into a difficult mess, which could cost him his life. Being one of the survivors of a plane’s crash in distant Alaska lands, he faces some moral choices, all while deciding, what to do next.
The film is based on a short-story entitled Ghost Walker and written by Ian MacKenzie Jeffers. Two famous characters collaborate together again. Though this time the director Joe Carnahan had to movie away from an action comedy, which was what The A-Team (2010) showed, to portaying the life of a more complex personality, working as animal hunter for an oil company. Ottway is a trapper, showing no mercy to the wolves, and he gets the chance to save some workers from certain death after they survived the dramatic falling from the sky.
The Grey features Ridley Scott as one of its Producers, though the rest of the cast isn’t so well-known yet. Even more, the movie doesn’t plan to present you with its abundance of characters. However, you can find some familiar names cast for the second plan roles. Frank Grillo is a cruel roughneck – John Diaz, while Dermot Mulroney once again was filmed in snowy and icy scenery, just like in the story of Big Miracle (2012), which is soon coming to the theaters too.
This time he plays Talget, who also landed safely and chose Ottway as the leader of the group along with his team maes. Now the hunter is hunted, while moving his colleagues to the nearest human settlement, though there are many dangers around. Not only snow storms, unbearable cold and huge cliffs threaten the lives of the travelers. The main danger comes from a pack of hungry wolves, and they aren’t happy to see strangers walking on through their extensive hunting grounds spanning across many miles in all directions.
Running Time: 2 minutes and 14 seconds.
