Pride in Crusader Kings II (#5)
A video series documenting the adventures of one helpless ruler reflecting the fundamental complexity of the Crusader Kings II sequel keeps on going. This fifth Pride episode shows that it is bad to be envied just as to envy, because in the first case you can get even more enemies.
Developers at Paradox Interactive are moving on their cool marketing campaign promoting the upcoming historical Strategy entitled Crusader Kings II (2012) and featuring a strong RPG foundation. In an unique series of short documentaries, the authors unveil the seven deadly sins any monarch could be guilty in. The main hero of the clips is a nobleman struggling to keep his Royal crown, while hardly trying to expand his own fief facing a deadly threat from many opponents and even some allies.
The fifth Trailer in the series explains, why being Pride can do no good for your kingdom. The ambitious nobleman has expanded his realm conquering a lot of wealth and lands, while recruiting a huge army and becoming one of the most influential Lords in the surroundings. Yes, he can be pride of himself, but he couldn’t guess, what his enemies had been up too. A powerful bishop now makes him join a Crusade in the East for the name of the Pope and Faith. Will our hero get back or die in the desert facing the poverty and death threats?
In this video once again you can expect to taste a nice sense of humour, enjoy the acting talent of the main cast performing in the background with just a couple of backstage items. Some footage from the upcoming Crusader Kings II title is also included here, and in the game you will need to use your strategic mind as well as to create a web of intrigues to benefit your own dynasty.
Just as we expected, the makers of the short films series keep up their creative spirit. They still have plenty of time to finish their 7 Sins story with this hilarious character. The sequel itself will be delayed a bit to be released in the middle of February, 2012.
Running Time: 1 minute и 33 seconds.
Watch More: Envy / Greed / Lust / Sloth / Wrath.
